Well, the PAC meeting last night went well I heard and the school is going to initiate a meeting for parents to sit down with the school board and reps from WorksafeBC and Pacific Environmental. That's great news.
As soon as we hear about when the meeting is scheduled for we'll post that info here.
There are lots of questions many parents would like to ask the folks from these companies.
If you have a question you'd like an answer to, why not post it here. The more questions we have, the more answers we'll get and the better we'll all feel.
I received some emails from parents over the summer with questions that I had never thought about and I'm so glad someone else had.
And as a side note, many parents have let me know how appreciative they are of this blog being set up. And so I say "You're welcome". This really was created because there were so many parents emailing for information, wanting to know who or where to go and in a world with this kind of technology I just thought why not create a sort of virtual coffee shop or comfy lounge where all parents can go to. And the options for what this can blossom into are endless. We, as families of Peace Arch Elementary are a community unto ourselves which I think is really great and special. So, let's celebrate that, stick together and use this for all the wonderful possibilities it can offer. My future thoughts are that we could eventually have a listing of any and all parents who own their own businesses and want to provide that information to the rest of us, community news briefs, meeting updates, you name it. If you have a suggestion please share it with everyone here.
